Victorians to get ready for a safe climate decade!
Victoria 's Sustainable Living Festival 2010 will show Victorians how to get ready for a ready for a safe climate decade.
Following the success of the 2009 Festival which attracted 124,000 visitors, this year's event will once again showcase a range of exhibits and events to inspire Victorians to embrace sustainability.
The year's event will highlight and address issues such as sustainable communities, food, gardening and conservation. Also on the agenda is sustainable transport, with topics covered to include zero emissions transport, bicycle safety on the roads and bike maintenance.
This year's festival includes two programs of events with the Main Event running from 19 - 21 February at Federation Square in Melbourne . A second program of local events will also run from 6 - 21 February. Organisers hope that the new two week format will broaden the scope of the festival, allowing them to reach even more Victorians.
