Upcoming Events
Need a little extra motivation to get out there are start walking?
Now that the warmer weather is upon us Melbourne will play host to many walking and running events. Here are a few:
Warming Up for the Games
Circle 20 November 2005 in your diary to be part of an active Office of Commonwealth Games Coordination countdown to the 2006 Commonwealth Games.
Victorians are invited to break a sweat on Sunday, 20 November 2005 as the day to swim, walk, cycle or even dance as part of an active countdown to the 2006 Commonwealth Games.
Every municipality in the State will host events, ranging from fun runs to demonstrations of Tai Chi, in the name of the Games.
This single day of unified action is designed to bring people together - and hopefully encourage them to take up a sport or leisure activity on a more regular basis
