Underpass Connects Buckley Street

A new shared pedestrian underpass on Buckley Street has improved walking and cycling connections in Essendon.

A partnership between Moonee Valley City Council and the Victorian Government, the Buckley Street Underpass project received funding under the Department of Transport's TravelSmart and Local Area Access Program.

The underpass located near Lily Street has addressed significant barriers to walking and cycling in the area, improving linkages to local destinations, services and schools.
