Streets for living in Knox

Bayswater West residents celebrated the completion of a much anticipated facelift for the intersection ofPhyllis StreetandWarrunga Avenuelast month. Streetscape improvements, including road markings and the installation of artworks, have created an attractive community hub designed to encourage walking and cycling for local transport.

Knox Councillor Adam Gill was on hand to launch the completed works - the result of a partnership project funded under the Victorian Government's TravelSmart and Local Area Access Program - at a community event held in late June.
