Green Travel Week- Moonee Valley City Council

Staff are encouraged to cycle, walk or catch public transport each day to and from work and where possible during. The initiative is a competition to see how many days you can actively commute to work. The aim is for staff to permanently actively travel to and from work on a regular basis. Through using the Skinned WalkSmart Website this will also encourage staff to travel to work. Throughout the week a range of activities with added incentives will be scheduled. Moonee Valley has developed a bicycle fleet for staff to use during work hours for meetings to encourage Green Travel. The Green Travel initiative is adopted by the Transport Strategy.
